Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Hon. Silveria Jacobs will be in a Central Committee meeting on January 25.
The Central Committee meeting is a continuation after the adjourned meeting of December 4, 2012. The meeting is scheduled for Friday afternoon at 2.00pm in the General Assembly Chamber of the House of Parliament at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.
The agenda point for the meeting is the present policy on Youth and Sports. Minister Jacobs will be answering questions posed to her by Members of Parliament in the first round.
The Central Committee meeting with Minister Jacobs was requested by the United People’s (UP) Party faction.
On Thursday, January 24 at 2.00pm, the Central Committee will meet with the Committee of Financial Supervision CFT with respect to the public finances of the country.
On Friday, January 25 at 10.00am, the Central Committee will meet with the Minister of Finance Hon. Roland Tuitt. This meeting is a continuation from the adjourned session in the latter part of 2012. The Minister of Finance will be present to continue to answer questions posed by MPs.
Members of the public are always welcome to be present in the General Assembly Chamber during public meetings to follow the parliamentary session scheduled for that particular day.
