The various ministers in the coming weeks will be going into more details about their ministerial portfolio’s via the broadcast media as it relates to the governing program "Working for the People."
Last week Wednesday, January 16 the official launch of the Governing Program took place at the Sonesta Great Bay Beach Hotel in the presence of approximately 100 invited stakeholders from the community.
Attendance at the event was based on an invitation only guest list of a cross section of the community that included civil society organization, labour and business.
Official activities started on time at 9.00am while the media was invited from 8.30am in order to allow media personnel ample time to set up their audio and visual equipment so that when the presentation based events began there would be no unnecessary interruptions.
The Secretaries-General of the various Ministries and of the Council of Ministers as well as the President of Parliament and His Excellency Governor Eugene Holiday received copies of program 32-page program of the NA/DP/I-3 coalition leading up to the official launch.
