National Day of Prayer

PHOTO CUTLINES: Minister Cornelius De Weever addressing the attendees on behalf of Minister Jacobs. DCOMM Photo

On behalf of my colleague the Honorable Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Affairs who could not be here this evening, asked me to convey the following message to you:

Brothers and Sisters I am blessed to have had a mother who loved her children more than herself and that for me will never change. That is called unconditional love. The Bible speaks of Agape love that has given me the courage to face the challenges of life.

For praying for our blessed Nation, because there is power in prayer. I would like to leave you with two passages from scripture that are very dare to me especially in Understanding The Times and Knowing What To Do!

1. Psalm 107:28-30 reads: Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven

Psalm 107:28-30 reads:

2.
Philippians 4:6-7 reads do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 107:28-30 reads:

Have a Blessed Evening,

Honorable Silveria Jacobs Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Affairs
