Ministry of Public Housing, Spatial Development, Environment and Infrastructure (MinVROMI) is requesting all contractors concerned that effective Wednesday, December 19, all utility trenches alongside all roads, primary and secondary including drives, must be filled in.
The aforementioned measure is to ensure safety during the holiday season. Open trenches present a hazard to pedestrians and motorists. This order also includes all present waivers.
Failure to comply with the aforementioned directive will result in the Governing closing open trenches with all consequences for the contractor along with the associated costs.
