Suspect caught in the act during break-in

On Wednesday December 12th at approximately 10.35 a.m. a Philipsburg police patrol was directed to a home on Port of Spain drive where unknown persons were busy breaking in. The owner of that house who was informed on what was going on at his home returned to his home and encountered two unknown men removing his belongings from his home.

 

One of these men took-off running into the bushes while the other remained on the scene. These suspects were driving a white Hyundai Getz with license-plate 737ZAY971 which was parked in front of the home in question. On the arrival of the police patrol they found a 52 inch Flat screen t.v. next to the vehicle along with a bag of U.S. coins and three bottles of alcoholic beverages. The suspect confessed to the officers that he was involved in the break-in and was arrested on the scene. The suspect with initials T.G.R (32) from Sint Eustatius was handed over to the Detective Department for further investigation.
