Police raids home in Cape bay

On Wednesday afternoon December 12th at approximately 02.00 p.m. an apartment building located on Maracas drive in Cape bay was raided by police after reliable information came into the police department regarding a drug selling operation that was going on from the apartment in question.

 

After receiving the information police went to the location, but before the police could surround the premises, the suspect that was in the house fled the scene through the rear of the building avoiding his capture. During a search of the premises by the investigating officers several vacuumed plastic packages containing marihuana prepared for distribution were found. Also more than $5000,- in cash along with a vacuum-machine, 10 cellular telephones and a considerable amount caliber .38 bullets were found in the apartment and confiscated for further investigation.
