Speaker of National assembly falls ill, meeting put off

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS (CUOPM) – Friday’s planned resumption of a sitting of the St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly was shelved after the Clek of the law making body reported that the Speaker of the Hosue, Hon. Curis Martin was ill.

Clerk of the lawmaking body, Mr. Jose Lloyd informed Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas, Leader of Government Business, Deputy Prime Minister the Hon. Sam Condor and Leader of the Opposition, the Hon. Mark Brantley.
