Discuss various items with regards to SER
The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams met with representatives of the Social and Economic Advisory Council SER on Tuesday. During the meeting the Prime Minister and the executive board of SER discussed various items pertaining to activities conducted by the SER over the past few weeks.
Discussions during the meeting covered various topics pertinent to the SER mandate and the roles and responsibilities of the SER as an advisory body to the Government of St. Maarten.
The Prime Minister initiated the Social Economic Council in May 2011 and conducted the first official meeting of the council at the AC Whaley Legislative Hall that same month.
