The Ministry of VROMI on behalf of The Government of St. Maarten is hereby informing the general public of the upcoming road scheduled for the Cole Bay Project of which concerns the areas of Cole bay, Cay bay, Pelican and Simpson Bay.
As of Wednesday November 28th 2012 to December 3rd 2012. The following scheduled will be set for the coming days, roads works by the general contractor Windward Roads are scheduled to commence 6:00 am through 5:00 pm and will re-commence from 9:00pm through 6:00 am. The impact area is from the Daily Extra Supermarket to Tropicana Casino, the works will be carried out during the morning and evening hours.
The entire project is scheduled to be completed by mid-december 2012.
The Ministry of VROMI on behalf of the Government of St. Maarten is asking all motorist to pay extra attention to the traffic signs and detour route for a smooth and safe transition as the works for the Cole bay are ongoing during the execution phases of the works.
