The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams, extended on behalf of the Council of Ministers and the Government of St. Maarten her deepest condolences to Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Affairs Silveria Jacobs on the passing of her mother earlier today. "It is with deep sadness that I learned today of the passing of Minister Jacobs’ Mother Mrs. Nadia Bryson-Willemsberg. I would like to extend to Minister Jacobs the heartfelt Condolences of Government, of the Council of Minister’s and personally from myself and from the members of my Cabinet in this most difficult time," commented the Prime Minister. "It is always with regret that we hear that a colleague is suffering the loss of a loved one, and our prayers are with you and your family during the weeks to come," the Prime Minister concluded in her message to Minister Jacobs. Mrs. Bryson-Willemsberg passed away at the St. Maarten Medical Center earlier today at the age of sixty-six.
