The Detective Department wants to inform all businesses on the island and community at large, to be aware of persons most probably of South American descent, that are presently on the island, using stolen or false credit cards and debit cards to purchase large amount of jewelry and large amounts of electronic equipments such as I-pads and I-phones. Many businesses have suffered serious lost from this type of criminality. All businesses are asked to pay very keen attention to protect themselves against this ongoing situation and to notify the authorities as soon as they notice any abnormalities to this effect.
