St. Maarten Cable TV today announced that the CableNet upgrade continues, with additional areas that can now receive high-speed internet service. The purpose of this upgrade is to improve the reliability and quality of service for CableNet subscribers.
St. Maarten Cable TV technicians and the Motorola team successfully cutover the new system last December and the technical team continues to build-out the plant to accommodate more areas in St. Maarten. Effective October 4, 2012, CableNet is available in the following areas on A.J.C. Brouwers Road: Hyssop Road; Marshmallow Road; Peppermint Drive; Blanket Herb Road; Anise Drive; Balsam Drive; Nutmeg Drive and Sarsapilla Road.
St. Maarten Cable TV customers and no-Cable TV customers, who are interested in subscribing to Cable TV’s Internet service, can visit the customer care office in Madame Estate– Mondays through Fridays–from 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. For customer service assistance via the telephone, call St. Maarten Cable TV at 542-4361, seven days-a-week from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Customers are encouraged to ask about the 25th anniversary promotion.
