The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams received a courtesy visit from Vice Admiral Matthieu Borsboom at the Prime Minister’s Cabinet on Friday. Vice Admiral Borsboom is currently the Commander of the Royal Netherlands Navy and has served with the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan before his appointment in 2010. Amongst the various topics discussed with Prime Minister Wescot-Williams was the establishment of a naval base on St. Maarten and operational support for the Coast Guard and various other entities.
