Police receives new vehicles

On Tuesday September 25th the chief of police Peter de Witte, on behalf of the Minister of Justice, officially received the keys for the 4 new police vehicles that were very much needed to be able to continue to provide the necessary assistance to the community.

These vehicles are three double cabin Nissan 4×4 diesel pick-up trucks and one Nissan Extrail. The pick-ups will be used for the Uniformed Division in the Simpson bay and Philipsburg Distritcs and the Nissan Extrail will be
used by the Community Police Officers. A special word of gratitude goes out to Mr. Junior Halley, representative/manager from NISSAN Sint Maarten Cars, who have been so instrumental in having these vehicles immediately delivered upon request.
