On Thursday, September 13th 2012, the controls on of supermarkets continued in the Middle Region areas. These controls were carried out by inspectors of the Economic Affairs and Community Police Officer of the District. During the control of the Stephany Supermarket even though they were in the possession of the necessary permits/licenses several food items including baby food had passed their expiration date. The management was told to have these items immediately removed from the shelves, which they immediately did.
