St. Maarten Cable TV recently upgraded its Digital Basic package by adding 50 digital music channels to the cable TV lineup. Customers who subscribe to the Basic package will automatically receive 50 Galaxie Music Channels at no additional cost. "This means that all of our active subscribers will be able to enjoy all of the music channels", Beulah Jonis, Managing Director indicated.
Galaxie Music Channels provide continuous, commercial-free music and include a complete selection of channels covering all popular music genres. Galaxie offers channels that are delivered in crystal-clear, digital-quality audio. The new channels are available on the Digital Basic lineup from Channels 900 to 949.
Jonis further stated, "As soon as we launched our digital platform, we offered over 30 new video channels. We are excited to finally be able to include this music offering to all customers. Since we added the music channels to our lineup last week, we have received very positive reviews because of favorites like Reggae, Soca and Latin music which are featured on Galaxie. Further, we are working with Galaxie to include music from our local artists on the channels so they can receive additional exposure in the region and internationally."
