Minister of Tourism & Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunications (TEATT) Hon. Romeo Pantophlet last week met with Dutch Aviation officials at his request with respect to aviation matters. The meeting included officials from Sint Maarten’s Department of Civil Aviation, and the discussion was about what must be put in place to return the country’s airport to a Category 1; provisions necessary to establish an aviation registry; and what type of assistance the Netherlands could provide.
