Minister of Public Health Hon. Cornelius de Weever was on-hand with staff from the Ministry of Public Health’s Baby Wellness Clinic and Nurses from the St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) at the Grand Marche Bush Road to provide information to the public about breastfeeding.
The information campaign is for a four week period. The Ministry of Public Health along with other stakeholders including nurses from SMMC are part of the journey to successful breastfeeding which begins with the support of families, healthcare providers, employers, and the community.
