PJIAE donates to restore Cook House at Emilio Wilson Park

The Princess Juliana International Airport Operating Company (PJIAE) made a donation here on Tuesday toward the restoration of the Cook House at the Emilio Wilson Park.

PJIAE Managing Director Regina LaBega presented the check for an undisclosed amount, to Julius Lambert, president of the Emilio Wilson Historical and Cultural Foundation (EWHCF). The foundation had requested a contribution as part of its fundraising for the historical restoration project.

"PJIAE supports efforts such as this one to restore and preserve our historical and cultural heritage," said LaBega during the check presentation at the airport on Tuesday morning. "We are looking forward to the timely completion of this project, which will benefit the whole of St. Maarten," said LaBega

Lambert thanked PJIAE for its generous donation and encouraged others to "emulate the concrete support and interest that the airport shows in the preservation of our patrimony."
