On 9 August 2012, 14 volunteers from the 429th Expeditionary Operations Squadron located at the U.S. Forward Operating Location (U.S. FOL) assisted the Felisidat Espasio Libertat I Speransa (F.E.L.I.S.) Foundation by cleaning the grounds. Equipped with weed-eaters and rakes, the volunteers spent the morning clearing sections of overgrown grass and weeds on the foundation’s property. The clean-up came just in time, since after-school programs began for the new school year that afternoon. The men and women working at the American FOL are frequent volunteers in the local community. This was yet another outstanding effort in assisting a local organization.
