Central Committee of Parliament Continues on Monday about CFT Letter

National Ordinances & Initiative Law Labour ContractsThe Central Committee of Parliament will continue its meeting in a public session on June 11 with respect to changes to national ordinances, a letter from the Committee of Financial Supervision (CFT) and the Civil Code.

The meeting will take place on Monday morning at 10.00am in the General Assembly Chamber of the House of Parliament at Wilhelmina Straat #2.1 in Philipsburg.

The first agenda point concerns a letter to the Council of Ministers dated May 09, 2012 from the CFT. The Minister of Finance Hon. Roland Tuitt is expected to be present for this agenda point and will address the House.

The second agenda point is related to the National Ordinance, with respect to changes to the Stamp Ordinance 1994 as well as other ordinances regarding the introduction of a new identification card and driver’s license.

The third agenda point is an initiative draft ordinance which requires changes to the Civil Code Book Seven A, regarding the elimination of misuse of labour contracts. The Minister of Justice Hon. Roland Duncan is expected to address the House on the aforementioned.
