Swearing in Ceremony Royal Military Police

On Monday May 21, 2012, another short ceremony was held at the Ministry of Justice’s offices at A.Th.Illidge road, to welcome two more additions to the Ministry of Justice’s Law Enforcement Agencies, more specifically, by members of the Koninklijke Marechausee (Royal Military Police).

The Honorable Roland Duncan swore in Mr. Wolter de Ruiter, who is a First Class Sergeant and Mr. Hubertus Bloks, a Sergeant Major in the Royal Military Police. The Minister and the local Police Chief Commissioner welcomed both men to the island and congratulated them on their new positions and encouraged them to serve Sint Maarten well. The men were also sternly advised by the local Chief Commissioner; “to prepare to work very hard in St.Maarten, as there is much to be done. The cooperation between the Royal Military Police has improved and he is looking forward to further collaborative efforts.”
Also present at the ceremony were two other colleagues of the Royal Military Police, who also expressed words of appreciation for reinforcement.
