Harbour attends FRED

St. Maarten Harbour Group of Companies seeks to attract St. Maarteners to fill vacancies by attending the Flinx Recruitment Expo Dutch Caribbean FRED 2012 in Beurs-World Trade Center in Rotterdam May 17-20.

The Harbour Group’s objective in attending FRED is to be exposed to young professionals and students in The Netherlands, find out their needs to return home and to network with the partners at the conference.

The delegation comprises Harbour Group Human Resources Manager Iris Scot, Maritime Department Head Edmond "Eddy" Johnson and Alexander Gumbs a former intern.

Caretaker Prime Minister Sarah Wescot-Williams will also be at FRED where she’s a featured speaker.

FRED will give the harbour delegation an opportunity to represent St. Maarten together with governments and others, network with other companies from the different islands and expose possibilities that exist at the harbour.

The delegation will explain possibilities the harbour can extend Harbour can extend to students who want to do their internship and/or thesis here.

FRED is a recruitment exhibition created with care by Flinx with the sole purpose of bringing students and professionals back to their native islands of Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao and St. Maarten.
