Prime Minister Hon. Sarah Wescot Williams says the CFATF team expressed their pleasure at the good cooperation they received during their working visit from the public and private sectors.

The Prime Minister added that after the team completed the process of gathering information, they will now compile their reports, but the country’s workgroup still has the opportunity to furnish additional information or any documentation such as legislation that the CFATF can include in their reports.

The CFATF is an organization of 29-states of the Caribbean Basin, which have agreed to implement common countermeasures to address the problem of criminal money laundering. It was established as the result of meetings convened in Aruba in May 1990 and Jamaica in November 1992.
