SHTA took note of a recent announcement that the labor department plans on hosting a series of workshops to amongst others better prepare the unemployed to enter the job market. Overall the SHTA feels that this is a good initiative and applauds the Ministry for taking such a hands on approach to the present challenges on the labor market. SHTA also looks forward to informational sessions and workshops for employers on dismissal request, work permit application process etc and would like to see this become a multi-annual approach.
