Pond Island – A full program of activities, starting with serious company business and ending on a fun note, is planned for a Staff Retreat of TelEm Group personnel at the Divi Little Bay Resort, today – Friday.
The event is scheduled to begin a 1:30 pm with an informative presentation on company developments by Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mrs. Helma Etnel, and also a technical update from Chief Technical Officer, Mr. Eldert Louisa.
Key to the business presentation will be an announcement of company goals and objectives for the year along with the overall direction that all stakeholders are taking to guide the development St. Maarten’s premier telecommunication company.
The program for the day will also include a motivational address by a guest speaker and a team-building session for personnel.
TelEm Group Corporate Communication Officer Joe Dominique says Friday’s meeting is the first of the year for TelEm Group management and personnel with a major focus being on the direction the company plans to take in the coming year.
Management will also be providing personnel with updates on ongoing restructuring and partnering plans.
As a result of the meeting all TelEm Group offices will be closed from noon today, Friday.
Management has sent messages of apology to customers and the public for inconvenience cause by today’s early closing.
