Subscribers are scheduled by area to swap their analog cable box for a digital box to ensure that their transactions are processed in an efficient manner. Customers must also bring their remote(s), coupon book and a valid ID. Those subscribers that have a shield on the cable box or are unable to remove their cable box, should call the customer service department at 542-4361 for further instructions.

Subscribers in Area #2 are encouraged to visit the office beginning Tuesday, February 14, 2012 to swap their box. Area #2 includes the following neighborhoods.

– Philipsburg

– Fort William

– Guana Bay

– Hope Estate

Subscribers in Area #1, which includes Madame Estate, Arch Road and Upper & Lower Sucker Garden, should still visit the office if they did not come in during their scheduled time.

Beyond the improved quality of service that the digital signal provides, customers with digital converters are receiving new channels in their current packages. For example, on February 1, 2012, three new channels were launched in the Solid Gold Package: The Africa Channel (282), Sony Entertainment TV (286) and Smile of a Child (313).

Customers are also encouraged to visit St. Maarten Cable TV’s new website for additional information about its new channels, digital cable TV, the interactive digital guide and the installation process at www.innovativevi.net/sxmcable.
