We hereby wish to inform you that in accordance with the Federal Ordinance of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry regulating the Voting Regulations modified for the Windward Islands (P.B.1976 No.32) one position on the Board representing Large Business has become vacant.
Due to the resignation of Mr. Glen Carty of the St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Chamber will be holding a Bi-Election on February 24, 2012.
In that regard, interested persons are informed that postulation will begin on February 1, 2012. On that date (February 1, 2012), postulation forms can be picked up from the Chamber office, until February 14, 2012 at 12:00 noon
Interested persons are hereby further informed that the elected individual will be taking the place of the retired board member and will serve the rest of his term, ending on December 31st 2012 .
However this person will be eligible for reelection.
