On January 26th 2012, The Central Committee of Parliament met with environmental groups Nature Foundation, PRIDE, and the EPIC foundation at 10.00am.

On Thursday afternoon the Central Committee met with the Animal Welfare Foundation, Animal Rights Foundation and a few others at 2.00pm.

The organizations gave a summary of their work and challenges that they face and exchange views with Members of Parliament on how the challenges can be dealt with from a legislative perspective as well if existing laws need to be strengthened or new laws are required.
