TelEm Group customers in several areas are experiencing interruptions in service due to Sunday night’s outage by power utilities company GEBE.
Areas affected are principally Simpson Bay, including areas around the Princess Juliana International Airport, and the Philipsburg area.
Services affected art mobile and fixed voice and DSL internet service.
TelEm Group technicians and engineers have been troubleshooting problems related to the loss of power and restoration of telecommunication equipment since the early hours, Monday and expect to have service resumed by noon today.
The public and TelEm Group customers are informed that we are on top of the situation and that we will restore affected services as soon as possible.
