Results Of The 2011 School Basketball Tournament

The School basketball games started on Friday, 30th September 2001 at the L. B. Scott Sports Auditorium, The Minister of sports the Honorable Dr. Rhoda Arrindell address the large crowd of Parents, student, fans and players who gathered at the L. B. Scott Sports auditorium.

The Minister commended the St.Maarten Youth Beat Foundation and stressed that the school sports Competition between the school in the various sports were in line with her policy, The Minister also acknowledge the participation of the Schools from The french side, which is concrete proof of unity proclaimed every November 11th , St.Maarten’s Day. The Minister also mentioned that St.Maarten will be bidding to host the 2013 Kingdom Games, and that basketball will form part of the Kingdom games, The Minister Declared the tournament open and made 3 attempt to shoot that basketball into the hoop.

The Tournament is Double Elimination Tournament; meaning if a school lose 2 games then they will automatically be eliminated from the tournament.
The Games will be played at the L. B. Scott Sports Auditorium starting at 5pm on Fridays and at the Melford Hazel Sports Complex on saturdaysarting at 3pm
