The Windward Island Civil Servants Union/Public Sector Union has called a General Membership Meeting for September 15, to replace the meeting that was originally scheduled for August 25, but was called off due to a very low turnout. As is customary, the meeting is will be held at the WICSU headquarters on the Walter Nesbith Rd, and is scheduled to commence at 5: 30pm.
The meeting will among other things clear the way for Board Elections, wherein members will choose a new executive to administer the affairs of the Union. The current executive will also present to the meeting a summary of its activities for the year 2010- 2011.
Not withstanding the inclement weather, the Union hopes that members will avail themselves of the opportunity to attend this very important meeting.
