The open house organized under the theme "Together we are strong; together we make it possible; together we are Saba" will be held at Juliana’s Sport Field and at the recently inaugurated Johan Cruyff Sports field in the Bottom. The overall objective is to create greater awareness among Sabans about the role and responsibilities of the participating RCN departments and Saba help services.

Besides getting the community more acquainted with the above listed organizations and their relevance for the island, efforts will be made to give persons interested in a career in the field of police, fire prevention, nursing and rescue services an introduction to these professions. The Saba Fire Department for example now falls under Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland and will soon start recruiting candidates to further expand this unit. Mr. Patrick Hendriks of Royal Marechaussee remarked; "The Royal Marechaussee is pleased with the excellent cooperation we have received from all participating services. This is just the beginning of great things we can and will accomplish collectively by bringing our individual knowledge, experience, talents and efforts together".

The open house begins s promptly at 11.00 – 18.00 hours. From 11.00 AM until 15.00 PM residents can attend activities at the Juliana’s Sport Field in the Bottom. During this time residents can visit the various stands where professionals will be on hand to provide information. The ambulance services of the Saba Health Care Foundation will provide free blood sugar and blood pressure testing. The Fire Department and Police will do demonstrations.

From 13.00 until 18.00 hours at the Johan Cruyff Sport Field the fun kicks in when there will be activities for children such as face painting, bouncing castles, football matches for various age categories.
