Chief Technical Officer (CTO) Mr. Eldert Louisa said Saturday morning police have been called to the scene and reports are now awaited from the Fire Department.
According to Mr. Louisa the damage has affected homes and businesses in the immediate vicinity surrounding the roundabout at Link 1/junction Welgelegen Road.
"All we can say at this stage is that the damage to the cabinet seems to be deliberate and with a purpose and we urge everyone in the vicinity to be especially cautious at this time," said Mr. Louisa.
