Monday morning, July 4th, the ‘Landsrecherche’ arrested a 46 year old civil servant, working in the Point Blanche prison, in relation tot the disappearance of $1.232, in May 2011. This money belonged to an inmate, who was being released that day.
The suspect has been taken in for questioning. He has given several statements, and has been released on Tuesday, July 5th. He remains a suspect in the investigation.
The investigation into the embezzlement of the money continues.
