As of October 10th 2011 the National ombudsman deals with complaints concerning among other things the police, tax authorities and Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland (RCN).
Two of the complaints handlers from the National ombudsman will be visiting Sint Eustatius from June 27th up till June 29th 2011. These are Ina Samaniri and Ruud Miedema. They have been assigned especially for this task and they will be handling the complaints which the National ombudsman already has received. They are also available to receive new complaints. You can also approach them with questions concerning problems you may have with the Kingdom government.
Do you have a problem? An example may be that you are not getting an answer on your letter or an official has treated you disrespectfully or in a harsh way. First contact the respective institution. If no solution is found, then you can contact the National ombudsman. This is applicable for situations as of October 10th 2010. As of that date Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba are public entities of the Netherlands.
