On Wednesday 15 June 2011, at 12.30, Avis employees and Red Cross volunteers met at AVIS Airport Rd 120, Simpson Bay to witness the handover of a Van sponsored by Avis for the St Martin section of the French Red Cross.
Philippe Barbier the manager of AVIS, presented the Van to Nicole Dimeo, President of the St Martin Red Cross.
AVIS St Maarten St Martin is proud and happy to sponsor the St Martin Red Cross and make its contribution to the extraordinary work performed by the organization’s team of volunteers.
The Van will fill a much needed gap and help the Red Cross bring help to the island’s neediest inhabitants
I would also like to thank Devin Ramraj, the manager of Hassel Muffler, and everybody in Avis for their help and efficiency in bringing this project to a successful conclusion.
