St John’s, Antigua – The WICB announces that the venue for the Leeward Islands v Trinidad and Tobago Round 5 clash has been changed from the National Cricket Centre in Couva to the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain.
After the first four rounds of the WICB Regional 4 Day Tournament, Jamaica lead the points standings with 36 points, followed by Trinidad and Tobago (33), England Lions (30) and Combined Campuses and Colleges (27).
Nine players have so far scored 300 or more runs. Out in front is Jamaican strokemaker Marlon Samuels with 595, followed by James Taylor (421), Daren Ganga (360), Craig Keiswetter (355) and Kyle Corbin (323).
CCC’s Ryan Austin (18) is the chief wicket-taker, followed by England Lions’ Jade Dernbach and Jamaica’s Odean Brown on 17 and T&T’s Rayaad Emrit on 16.
