Under the theme ”Reflection and Renewal” the Pan Caribbean Partnership Against HIV and AIDS commenced observing its decade of existence at its Tenth Annual General Meeting on Sunday 31st October 2010.
Keynote speaker at the official opening, former United Nations Secretary-General Dr. Kofi Annan, Chair of the Kofi Annan Foundation addressed several Caribbean Heads of Government, high-level government officials, regional and international representatives of the Partnership and other specially invited guests.
Also during the opening, Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretary-General, His Excellency Edwin Carrington and Executive Director for the Global Fund, Professor Michel Kazatchkine signed the PANCAP/Global Fund Round 9 Agreement on behalf of their respective institutions. PANCAP received US$31 million from that initiative.
