French St.Martin Baseball selection team wins again at the Rouen Baseball Open in France

Four French St. Martin players selected

The selection baseball team of French St. Martin that is participating in the Rouen Baseball Open has now won their second game of the Tournament.

The fans at the Stadium of Saint Exupery of Rouen were ready to see the challenge of the Caribbean Team from St. Martin and the Allstar Elite Team of Rouen. From the very first inning the game had sings that it would have been a very hard game that was about to unfold. The game went three innings scoreless until in the top of the third when Luis Francisco Tejada singled and later scored on a hit of Felix Brown that produced run number one for St. Martin. The Elite Allstar team tied the game and was hoping to move ahead of St. Martin but to their surprise inning six was the big inning for St.Martin. For the top of the order the batter starting the inning was Felix Brown who connected a double down the third base line. Felix then stoled third base and on a bad throw of the catcher came home to score the winning run for the St. Martin team. For the rest of the game the innings were scoreless and St. Martin won with a score of 2 – 1 . After the game announcement were made that the selected players of Martin for the National French Selection are : Jean Samer- Omar Williams, Felix Brown and Morvin Beauperthuy. The St. Martin team will be playing its two last games on Sunday morning.
