The St. Martin Book Fair Committee (BFC) has been "making the rounds" to thank various patrons and cultural arts partners that contributed to the success of the 8th annual St. Martin Book Fair (June 3-5), said book fair coordinator Shujah Reiph.
The BFC would especially like to thank the St. Maarten Tourist Bureau, the Collectivité of St. Martin, the University of St. Martin, the Collectivité’s departments of culture, events and activities, and public works; SEMSAMAR; the Public Library in Marigot; United Car Rental, Oyster Bay Beach Resort; and all media houses; and "a resounding applause to the people of our whole island," said the BFC on Sunday.
