St. Martin presents SMART 2010, the St. Maarten Annual Regional Tradeshow, which will take place on May 25- 27, 2010 at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino.

The event will focus on St. Maarten – St. Martin and the neighboring islands of the North Eastern Caribbean as the most important Travel Industry Partners and Wholesale Travel Agents have been invited to the Event, where they can meet North Eastern Caribbean Hotel and Excursions operators on a "ONE on ONE" basis in order to negotiate business for winter 2010/ 2011 and beyond during one day of pre-scheduled Appointments and one half day of Educational Seminars and Activities.

While last year’s event reached unprecedented heights due to the collaboration of the French and Dutch Tourist Boards, this year’s SMART will see new levels of cooperation from tourism entities from all over the region, including Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, B.V.I., Dominica, Guadeloupe, Montserrat, Saba, St. Barths, St. Eustatius, St. Kitts & Nevis, and of course, St. Maarten and St. Martin.
It all kicks off with a Welcome Reception on Tuesday, May 25. Appointments will be scheduled for the entire day on Wednesday, May 26 followed by a Farewell Party at 7:30 pm. Additional appointments will be scheduled for Thursday, May 27, however, the majority of the day will be devoted to workshops, hotel visits, island tours and activities.
