From May 8, 2010 French St. Martin Baseball and Softball Association in conjunction with the St. Martin Pony League will be having as guest the Manager of the French Baseball Team Mr. Sylvain Virey, who will be conducting baseball tryouts on the island of St. Martin as to select St. Martin players to form part of the various French Baseball Selections that will be competing in European and World Baseball Tournaments.
Accompanying Mr. Virey during the tryout sessions will be his pitchers coach and photographer. The tryouts are schedule to take place on the Luis Vanterpool Stadium in Marigot. Upon arrival Mr. Virey was greeted by players and members of the French St. Martin Baseball and Softball Association and the St. Martin Pony League.
