RESULTS:
The Lab Sports Academy in collaboration with Diamonds International hosted the 8th Annual Diamond International Youth Tennis & Extra over the Weekend.
This event took place on the 11th, 12th & 13th of DECEMBER 2009.
This event again was a great success. 35 athletes participating in 5 Categories.
Winners in the different Categories were:
Beginners Boys: Jeremiah Rombley.
Under 10 Boys: 1. Edwin de Weer – 2nd Pedro Rombley & Girls: 1. Shantal Hughes – Deffeny.
Under 13 Boys: 1st Leshawn Brown – 2nd Adiel Mercedes & Girls: Melanie Wilkesmann from the American Tennis Club French Side.
Under 15 Boys: 1st Raymond Rombley 2nd Dwayn Jollie & Girls: 1st Sophie Pasman 2nd Chanda Hughes.
Open Class. Boys: 1st Claudio Hodge 2nd Shawn Gibs.
Open Class Moms classic select. In these Categories the Moms got Cool Feet, result was that we could not host a competition in this group. We hope to do so next time, reason for this is to have more parents come out and motivate the Children, especially the female participants and the younger groups’ boys and Girls.
Most Improved Players toffees went to: Boys Mateo Jacobelli & Girls Shanda Hughes.
