On Saturday December 11th 2009, Air Caraibes made it’s Inaugural flight from France to St.Maarten.
Water is being sprayed on the airplane as a way of saying welcome!
At 1:30 pm, the Crew members of Air Caraibes along with invited guests deplaned and joined the ceremony.
President of PJIAE N.V., Drs Eugene Holiday addressed the guests.
Commissioner of Aviation Affairs & Tourism Mr.Frans Richardson was also present at the ceremony. He also addressed the guests.
First Vice-President of the Territorial Council of Saint Martin Mr.Daniel Gibbs & Senator of Saint Martin Mr.Louis Constant Fleming were in attendance and addressed the guests.
The President of Air Caraibes Mr.Marc Rochet also addressed the guests during the joyous event.
Gift presentations were given out to the Captain, the Crew & Air Caraibes Representatives after the Ribbon was cut to officially welcome Air Caraibes to St.Maarten as it’s new destination.
