WILLEMSTAD — The agricultural market, which had been held at the LVV-terrain in Klein Kwartier yesterday, had attracted approx. 3000 visitors according to the organization.

There had been several stands, which had sold locally grown vegetables and fruits and other kinds of products. Everything had been sold at the end of the day. The organizing parties, LVV, Adeck and Agricultural Advisory Committee (ACC) had been very pleased with the entire course of the day.
Minister Maurice (FOL) had officially opened the market. He had stated that much more should be invested in the agricultural sector in the future so that the island could produce high-quality vegetables and fruits. With the current advanced techniques, Curaçao should be able to encourage the agricultural sector in such a manner that less vegetables and fruits are imported.
