The more than two hundred meter long ship confiscated the drugs with a market value of 260 million euros, approx. two weeks ago on a fishing vessel along the coast of Columbia. The fishing vessel was stopped after it was spotted by a navy helicopter. The American coastguard was also involved with the action.

The Brazilian frigate ‘Liberal’ is also in the harbor this week. The ship was open to the public yesterday and today. The harbor visit is in the framework of ‘rest and recreation’ of the crew, just like the American submarine USS Newport that visited Willemstad last week and left again last Monday.
