Chairman Alex Rosaria (State Secretary of Finances, PNP) of the Task Force Fiscal Affairs: "We should pay much more attention to the Latin-American and Caribbean markets. In addition, we should also aim for less-known markets such as those of Vietnam, South Africa, and Estonia which have significant potential."
Further international developments, decisions that were taken during the latest G20-top as well as the spearheads that the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) recently distinguished in Mexico, necessitate a revision of the Antillean priorities.
The Antilles should consider the agreements, intentions, and inclinations of mentioned influential countries and organizations in order to make prudent choices and to take action en route to a top 10-position in the international financial related-service.

Showpiece
The inclusion on the white list of the OECD is a good showpiece for the local, international targeted financial related-service, said the State Secretary. "In plain words, such an inclusion on the white list instills confidence in our international financial sector (IFS), and confidence is the most important criterion in this sector."
The course pursued by the Antilles should lead to more new direct and indirect employment, attract more investors, and strengthen the local economy. The expectation is that a varied, large group, – not just a small elite – will profit from this activity.
