During the interview Senator Abraham said that he believes that the representatives of the people of Bonaire of which he is one of them just like the representatives of Saba and St. Eustatius have to realize that they are not here to please Holland. We are here to please our people, we will have to struggle for the interest of our people, and we have to stop, what I believe is going on right now, recently and lately to try to please the Dutch as much, as much they want. What we have to to do is start pleasing our people, and look out for the interest of our people and we do not have to think that because we stand up for our rights, that, that means war to Holland. No, I think on the long run Holland is going to appreciate us when we fight for our own rights. And the attitude of pleasing and pleasing and pleasing, the Dutch representatives instead of trying to please the interest and of our people we have to change that attitude as soon as possible.

One more time I expect the Saban people and the Saban representatives and also the St. Eustatius people and the representatives of the Statian people to back up the struggle that we are going to fight as a new government of the people of Bonaire in the interest of Bonaire, that will be also in the interest of the people of Saba and St. Eustatius Senator Abraham told the people of Saba.

The entire interview will be aired once again on 93.9 FM on Monday, June 15th 2009 at 8.00 p.m.
