The Executive Council of Sint Maarten wishes to clarify the status of the legal proceedings relating to Delano Richardson v. the island government.
There has been no decision taken in the matter.
On June 1, 2009 the court in first instance requested parties to seek an amicable solution.
Parties have until June 16th to reach an agreement. Failing that, the court will proceed with the further adjudication of the matter and render judgment.
